History Writings

I wrote a paper, consisting of three separate prompts, that examined the social, economic, and political conditions of Western Europe from 1500-1700. The paper analyzes King Henry VIII's Anglican Church and Britain's involvement in colonization and the triangular trade, among other things.

A day without coffee is a day wasted. I always start my morning with iced coffee-regardless of the weather. When I had to write a food-themed history paper during Spring 2013, I wrote about coffee. The paper is an analysis of Starbucks's business model and its revolutionary influence on the American coffee industry.

For the final paper I linked together history and literature and wrote about the differing portrayals of witchcraft in two famous plays: Macbeth and The Witch of Edmonton.
